The South Station Tower is currently under construction and will consist of 861,000 square feet of mixed use spread through 51 stories. The key residential component of the South Station Tower will be comprised of 166 Ritz-Carlton branded luxury condos. Hines, the developer, will focus on sustainability and will preserve South Station's original details while connecting the new tower with the existing train and bus terminal. The South Station Tower will also be home to 768,000 square feet of office space and 6,000 square feet of retail. The tower is expected to take approximately four years to complete.
