Puttshack Mini Golf Coming soon to Seaport District
Boston's Seaport District is growing once again, adding three new establishments to the roster of amenities already located around the waterfront. Multiple high-profile developments grace the area, including residential buildings like Echelon Seaport, 50 Liberty, 22 Liberty, Pier 4, and St. Regis. Other luxury rental buildings and retail locations grace the area as well.
The first new establishment making its way to the Seaport District is Love & Flour. The bakery is out of Salem, New Hampshire, and is currently located at 100 Seaport Blvd. Bakery treats such as macarons, cupcakes, cakes, and even cake accessories can be found here. Some beverages are also available within the establishment.
Madras Dosa Co., a fast-casual Indian restaurant, will be making a new home in the Seaport District at 55 Boston Wharf Rd. The restaurant is from the same team behind the South Indian chain Godavari and Khiladi NYC. Unsurprisingly the restaurant will feature dosa, a thin South Indian crepe with a variety of fillings. The establishment will also offer all the curries and chutneys anyone could want for dipping. Residents in the area will dine on-site or get delivery from a major third-party platform.
The largest new development coming to the Seaport District will open in early 2022. The Puttshack Mini Golf Chain will be opening an upscale tech-infused mini-golf experience that is incorporated into the WS Development’s 33-acre development just off Seaport Blvd.
Puttshack will feature 26,000 square feet of indoor space that offer four mini-golf courses and state-of-the-art “Trackball” technology. The innovation keeps score as you play, keeping track on digital display boards. Each hole offers players the chance to interactively test their skills, with challenges that range from beer pong to trivia.
Not only will there be fun, but also food and beverages are on the menu. The Puttshack promises to offer a “globally inspired” menu and full cocktail bar, all to brand itself as quintessential Boston nightlife. Puttshack president Dave Diamond said that “Boston has always been a priority market for us, and we can’t wait to bring the Puttshack experience to such an energetic part of this historic city.”
